CHEESE n’ WINE

 

The highlight of the exhibition is the special event titled CHEESE n’ WINE. It is well known that Greece is home to distinguished producers of various types of cheese and wine. Following their first successful participation, the two industries will meet for a second time at the same venue at their own event held at a specially set-up area, with upgraded and highly refined structures. 

Domestic and international producers will display their products around the tasting area. At the same time, through the numerous events held, they will be able to invigorate their products and pair them with suitable wines, creating alternative proposals that could serve as selling tools for the subsequent promotion of their products.

 

 

 

The exhibition has ‘branched off’ from the established Detrop International Exhibition of Food, Beverages, Machinery, Equipment & Packaging, held every two years and representing the dynamism and extroversion of high-quality domestic food production. Detrop Boutique is held one year after each Detrop exhibition.

Following its successful première in 2016, the ‘Cheese & Wine’ thematic exhibition is dynamically being held for a second time. As indicated by its name, this special section focuses on the presentation of producers of cheese and wine, two products that are flourishing in Greece.

Cheese and wine producers jointly display their products, which are paired with each other to create new gastronomic paths. Cheese, the best pairing for wine according to the French, is ideally accompanied by exceptional Greek wines. This creates alternative proposals that could serve as selling tools for the subsequent promotion of their products.
 

 

 


Through the numerous events being held, visitors will have the opportunity to discover new flavours and aromas, selecting the one that best fits their taste. 

It should be noted that the tasting events held during Cheese n’ Wine will be coordinated by distinguished tasters, while the Greek wine map will be presented by professional oenologists - sommeliers.
