Dimitris Skarmoutsos in a few words
Dimitris Skarmoutsos was born in Athens. When he was 18 years old, he left Greece for the USA where he studied economics in the UCLA. Once he completed his studies, he studied in the cooking school Culinary Institute of America. In 1993, he started his first professional steps in cooking while three years later, he worked as ched in hotels and restaurants in America. In 2000, he returned to Greece and more specifically in Crete where we started working as cook in restaurants in Chania. Next, he moved to Athens where in 2010, already well-known chef of the Alatsi restaurant, he took part in the jury panel of the cooking reality show Master Chef, in Mega Channel.
